staycation.

Hello dolls. Long time no chat. It’s been a busy year so far and I feel like I haven’t been constantly on here, in forever! So, some may know but Levi and I just celebrated our five years of marriage on February 13th. We took advantage of it this time around and got away for a couple of days. We headed to Broad ripple for a little “staycation”. Checked into The Ripple Retreat for the night and all I have is good words to say about this stay. The host was so welcoming and quickly responded to any questions or concerns I had. The duplex was a three bedroom, two story and it was HUGE. It’s a space, for anything! After we checked in, we went out to grab a few drinks and dinner. We also stopped at Wal-Mart due to forgetting a fan. If you follow me on IG @tinedeputy, you would have seen that funny experience. After we got back to the house, we watched some Netflix and relaxed for the night. The location was so ideal. It’s close to everything and anything. The morning after, we had brunch and (cake) at The Cake Bake Shop. LOVED this cute little shop. You are definitely needing to stop in if you’ve never been! Following our brunch + cake stop, we went to Studio Movie Grill, which neither of us been to. Obviously watched 50 Shades Freed. Great per usual. It was such a relaxing evening and morning. We had one more stop, IKEA before we headed home. Wanted to pick up some new items for our home. Grabbed lunch after a lonnnng shopping experience and headed home to our boys! It was a much needed stay and I want to thank The Ripple Retreat for everything! Yay, for five years.

If you are in Indy and are looking for a staycation or are coming to Indy for any reason, I 100% recommend The Ripple Retreat. Be sure you follow them on Instagram too, @therippleretreat.
